that got your attention, eh? LOL No improvement cuz Cabo's owner has been MIA... ok not really. So i have a second job, which is awesome, but I'm already into house/horse sitting rather than the simple 4 day a week gig. More money to spoil the ponies, so no worries. AND we've been feverishly spreading gravel and pounding t-posts for winter paddocks. Let me tell ya what 40 yards of gravel will get you: not much coverage and sore arms. Thank you, dear neighbor, for bringing your tractor over. We love you. Please be home this weekend cuz we're going to have another 40 yards to spread. The things I have not done, but plan on doing in the very near future: -clip the wild yak -ride the wild yak -longe the wild yak I have to do these 3 things before Nov 1 cuz we're going to start taking lessons to make sure our butts get out there at least once a week. I'm also struggling with his english bridle size. I want to get him one with a flash or figure 8... but some of my bridles are just too big for him (horse size), and my cob is a little too small. The one cheapie horse size bridle I have does fit him. So maybe I should just use that and find a noseband that fits. Hrmmmm....

Ohh I figured it out...but i may need to take you up on the black bridle cuz he neeeeeds one if he's eventually going to do dressage.
He's currently wearing a full horse bridle but a cob noseband, and a 5" bit. He could ideally go with a 5.25 but those are harder to find in what he likes, and 5.5 is way too big.
He also has rubber reins, to bring out his eventing self hehehehe

Yeah he is oddly shaped. Thats how Joey was. He wore Cabos old head stall and bit but a horse size halter was a bit to big for him. He also wore a size 70 blanket but a 28" girth. I had a hard time finding things that fit him right and that made him happy.
Cabo will look so cute doing dressage!
