So, Cassie is doing really well, attitude wise! Its been awesome, actually. Very friendly, very lovey-dovey. Maybe the magnesium had something to do with it? Over the summer she's learned to play the keep- away game..especially if i have a halter in hand. She gives it up quickly, but still- such a change from the horse who used to seek me out. Depressing, really. But she's slowly changing. I've been thinking about re-starting her- trying to. And with this shift of attitude for the better, I'm REALLY thinking about it. So i'm going to play it safe for a bit. take her out for loves and treats...and then when she's in her pony paddock there is no escaping me. I know, mean, but maybe that'll change her mind about being with me. I can become the highlight of her day rather than the stupid pasture. Some horses just need that shift in thinking. I'm not opposed to taking advantage of the situation Sorry in advance, Cassie.

My evil brilliant plan is already working, after a short 48 hours of pony paradise. Cassie is begging to come out. So today I took her out to hand graze.
I'll let her mull over this a little bit longer...
