Pony Paddocks are officially done!!! Horses already waaaay pissed at me, LOL. The good news is that the new boarders want their horses to get a third meal...so we're going to split the week up and share the duty. So life won't be so bad for the grass-less ponies.

So my horses decided there IS in fact fun in paddocks.
Saturday morning: Call from BO, "Your girls got loose" Apparently the fence is a mere suggestion rather than a requirement. Cabo, during this whole stint was a good boy. He stood in his paddock like a champ.
Check fence...charge down to nothing. How did that happen? Spent all weekend mending. Got it back to reasonable voltage. Still more work to do.
To cut down on time, I just exercise both girls at the same time. They both know how to round pen, so why not? And they seem to enjoy pushing eachother around during exercise, LOL.
Cabo kid gets 1:1 time. Except not this weekend because his girlfriends were baad.
On the plus side, this bridled life has changed Cassie for the better. She's been more "cooped up" than ever- smaller paddocks, stall time...and yet she's as calm as can be. She was a saint for the trimmer. Pasture= feral for her. Interesting!
