Ick, I have the flu I'm hoping that by the time I am better, that our warm water will be restored to the wash room. The freezing temps last month killed 3 of our pipes, thus no running water to that room. And the other nite i noticed Cabo's tail is way too long. Like resting on the floor long. So it needs trimming before he manages to pull it out (not that anyone would notice). But before it gets trimmed, it really needs to be washed and completely untangled. Which, if you know Cabo, that is a huge job because his tail is ridiculously thick. He also got a new, lighter, waterproof sheet. For anyone wanting a sheet that is lighter than your standard no-fill turnout sheet, you NEED to get the Amigo 600D waterproof sheet. Link here: www.victorycanter.com/Amigo-600D-Winter-Turnout-Sheet-p-21471.html Victory Canter offers free shipping, too. A fantastic price for a nice sheet that REALLY stays upright on the horse. Perfect for those temps that really don't require horse clothing, yet we must cover them to keep them clean through our wet months. Cassie has one at present- she wore it through our flood storm, and I'm quite impressed. Ok back to bed for me.

Yeah he has one thick tail! I used to keep it braided and would take it out daily to brush it and re braid it, just to keep it tangle free. But you also come across the problem one of the High Valley ladies had, her horses trail was braided and it got wet then froze and when she went to take the braid out the whole tail snapped in half!!!!! So its kind of a catch 22. The next time the weather is nice I need to wash Ally's tail and put it in a braid. Her tail is like her mane, always full of tangles no matter if I brush it daily. I feel your pain!!! Give Cab-man some loves from me and his lil sis. We miss him, but know he is happy and loves you and his new snobby lil big sis.
