All the horses got their pedicures yesteday I was especially impressed with Cassie. That mare has been though some wicked stuff- and the past 8 months has regressed just a bit in terms of her trust... in me. That's a story for another day, though. Nevertheless, Cassie was able to control herself- she was very scared, but she did it. And her trim was done in 15 minutes or so. Part of it could be that I started her on Remission (cheaper but similar to Quiessence with a few different ingredients). But that was just the night before. Can 1 serving make a difference- i thought it was supposed to take a few weeks to kick in? I tend to be in the "possibly" camp. A few months ago, Skittles went to the vet and came out of it with a prescription for Prozac. The vet did tell me that I should expect changes in about a month. But after one dose, he was a completely different animal. The psycho- kitty edge was gone. Just one dose! In any case, if the Remission is already working, then perhaps Cassie's issue is that she's got a magnesium deficiency. In that case, I'm happy its working, and I hope she can chill. She's not a nut job- she's just always in this perpetual state of her breath sucked in and held. Brace, I guess is what you could call it.
